K series bevel gearboxes are high torque gearboxes where the input and output shafts are at right angles. They have been designed for machines operating in the most demanding industrial environments. The mechanical transmission consists of 1, 2 or 3 helical gear trains designed according to ISO and DIN standards. The gears are case hardened and ground. K gearboxes offer high operating reliability and an efficiency of up to 98%.
The housing is constructed of cast iron and designed using FEM techniques; it is extremely robust. They can be mounted on the machine by means of feet or a flange. Their torque range goes from 100 to 50,000 Nm, and they can be driven by servomotors or IEC asynchronous motors.
They are used in the machines for food and beverage industry, conveyors, cranes, textile, construction machinery, mixers, cement factories, metal cutting and processing lines, mining, test benches, recycling machines, etc.
