F series parallel-shaft helical gear units are heavy duty gearboxes whose input and output shafts are parallel. They've been designed to operate in the most demanding industrial environments. Their gear train is employs one or more helical gear stages, and the gears are case hardened and ground. Gears have been designed following ISO and DIN standards. The cast iron housing has been designed using FEM techniques. This design is extremely rugged, offers high reliability, and has up to 98% efficiency. It can be flange or foot mounted. Output torque ranges between 50 Nm and 10800 Nm, and they accept both servomotors and IEC motors.
They are mainly used in cranes and conveyors, though they're also often installed in machines for the food and beverage industry, in construction machinery, in recycling machinery, in mixers, etc.
