FG Planetary Gearboxes' main selling points are their ISO-9409 flange and their very compact nature. This design allows directly attaching a pulley, dial plate, pinion, AGV wheel, etc. These elements are perfectly centered and very securely attached, resulting in a final assembly that is extremely short. They're used in machines that require highly accurate positioning and highly dynamic cycles. Additionally, FG gearboxes offer a very high torsional rigidity, that can reach up to 5 times the torsional rigidity of solid shaft gearboxes of equivalent size.
